Abstract General Information
Title
PEE AND POOP WITHOUT CRISIS: AN OMNICHANNEL EDUCATIONAL CHANNEL ON STANDARD UROTHERAPY
Introduction and objective
Standard urotherapy is indicated as a baseline therapy and the first conservative treatment option for lower urinary tract symptoms. It has an efficacy and improvement rate of around 50% when performed alone, and is enhanced when associated with specific therapies. It can be used by all health professionals involved in the area, which makes it susceptible to the interpretation of each professional by the different forms of application, which can compromise the results. Thinking about this scenario and the exponential era we are living in, where digital transformation has changed the way we communicate, the objective of this study was to develop an omnichannel educational channel containing information on standard urotherapy in accessible language for children with lower urinary tract symptoms and their families.
Method
The present study is the development of an omnichannel educational channel containing information on standard urotherapy. The production of content did not involve advanced technologies, but involved several stages, such as: defining themes and dates for publication, developing scripts and texts, rehearsals, reviewing, recording in the studio, editing videos, developing visual pieces and Publication. The entire process has the support of experts in image and video, web design and marketing. All topics covered are based on the recommendations of the International Children's Continence Society.
Results
Canal ‘Xixi e Cocô sem Crise’ is available in Portuguese on the platforms: Youtube, Fabebook and Instagram; can be found by the extension @xixiecocosemcrise and has the motto 'If you take care of a child, be sure to follow up'. The content produced is legitimate and developed exclusively for the channel, based on scientific references, worldwide 'guidelines' in the area and the creator's accumulated clinical experience. The main differential is the simple, clear and playful language, which makes it accessible to audiences of different ages and levels of education.
Conclusion
This study presents Canal Xixi e Cocô sem Crise, an omnichannel educational channel about standard urotherapy in accessible language for children with lower urinary tract symptoms and their families.
