Dr. Contreras is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomic Pathology with a joint appointment in the Department of Translational Molecular Pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston since 2014. In addition, he serves as the Patient Safety and Quality Officer for the Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology and specializes in breast pathology.
