Dr. Kiril Trpkov is a Professor of Pathology at the Cuming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Dr. Trpkov has been involved with several national and international organizations in establishing guidelines and practice standards in uropathology/genitourinary pathology. He was a founding member of the Genitourinary Pathology Society (GUPS), and from 2019 - 2021 he served as the first President of the society.
