René Adam is Head of the Department of Hepato-Biliary Surgery, Cancer and Transplantation at Paul Brousse Hospital, Villejuif, France. Professor Adam’s main fields of activity and research are surgery of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas, and hepatic transplantation. He is particularly involved in the treatment of primary and secondary liver tumors especially by combination of chemotherapy and surgery.
