Dr. Kim Nguyen Chi is a medical oncologist and the Chief Medical Officer of BC Cancer, which provides a comprehensive cancer control program for the people of British Columbia, Canada. He is also a Professor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia, and was past Chair of the Genitourinary Disease Site Committee for the Canadian Cancer Trials Group. Dr. Chi's research is in the area of genitourinary cancers with a focus in prostate cancer and investigational new drugs, where he has contributed to changing international standards of care practice for patients with advanced prostate cancer. He has held peer-reviewed grant funding from the Canada Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), National Cancer Institute of Canada (NCIC)/Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), the US Department of Defense, Movember, Prostate Cancer Foundation (US) and Prostate Cancer Canada.
